Spencer Stover

Spencer Stover is currently pursuing an Advanced Music Studies Certificate in Instrumental Performance at Carnegie Mellon University. In the upcoming year, he will continue his studies toward a Master of Music in Violin Performance under Christopher Wu. He previously earned a Bachelor of Music Education and a Professional Performance Certificate from Pennsylvania State University.
With almost 20 years of immersive musical experience, Spencer is an active performer and educator, frequently freelancing and collaborating with local ensembles. His dedication to musical excellence has led him to prestigious summer programs, including The National Repertory Orchestra, The Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival of Miami, and The Philadelphia International Music Festival, where he worked closely with esteemed musicians worldwide.
Spencer’s previous teachers include James Lyon, Professor of Violin at Pennsylvania State University; Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violinist of The Philadelphia Orchestra; and Dr. Beth Guerriero, Founder of Beth G Consulting. Their mentorship has played an instrumental role in his musical development.
